Session history
Every session is saved automatically when it ends. History is grouped by day and shows the time, intent, outcome (Done / Partly / Not done), duration, ratio, and break proportion for each session.
The Insights tab
The Insights tab unlocks after your fifth session. It surfaces patterns across your history using six metrics:
Break balance
The percentage of sessions where the break you took was roughly proportional to what you earned — within 80–120% of your earned break. A consistently high balance suggests you’re earning break faster than you use it; consider a lower ratio (1:4, 1:5). A consistently low balance suggests you might benefit from more generous earning (1:2, 1:3).
Typical focus block
The median duration of your work segments, along with the interquartile range. This tells you how long you naturally work before taking a break or ending a session.
Weekly trend
The percentage change in total work time compared to the previous week. A rough signal for whether you’re working more or less than usual.
Peak hour
The most common hour at which you start sessions. Useful for spotting when you’re actually most productive.
Session streak
The number of consecutive sessions where your break usage was on-ratio (within the 80–120% range). A longer streak suggests your ratio is well-calibrated.
Post-session toasts
After ending a session, the app shows a brief toast with quick feedback based on your break balance for that session:
- Balanced — your break usage was close to what you earned
- More breaks next session? — you earned significantly more break than you took
These are informational — they don’t affect your bank or settings.
